Van Dieman's Underwater Series- Abyss

Van Dieman’s Abyss from the Underwater series is a deep black ink. It dries in 60 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a wet flow. Van Dieman’s ink is made in Australia.

Van Dieman's is a proud Australian company that has made a concerted effort to improved their inks formula's and sourcing. Van Diemans inks will consist of at least 90 percent Australian ingredients which will allow them to proudly state and be labeled as made in Australia.

Van Dieman's Underwater is the 7^th series from Van Dieman’s Ink. Inspired by the Flora, Fauna, regions and mystery of the ocean, this collection of sixteen fountain pen and shimmer inks contains some of our most unique and experimental inks to date. 

Abyss is based upon the Abyssopelagic zone, the 4^th oceanic zone, and is the point where the ocean floor flattens out after the continental drop. It resembles a dark and mysterious level in which all lifeforms take on wonderful alien-like abilities and traits. Absolutely no light reaches this region and we have utilized a high concentration of a unique Indian dye to make this ink our most saturated black yet.
